Frequently asked questions

When should you consult an orthopaedic surgeon ?

A consultation is indicated in case of persistent joint pain, loss of mobility, fracture or trauma requiring a specialist opinion.

Is surgery always necessary ?

No. Many conditions can be treated with non-surgical measures. The surgical indication depends on the diagnosis, the evolution of symptoms and the functional impact.

What happens during the first consultation ?

The first consultation includes a detailed medical history, a clinical examination and the analysis of available imaging examinations. This allows an appropriate care strategy to be defined.
